The average baseload price climbed 28% from July to €143.15/MWh, compared with €111.74/MWh a month earlier. The reported average peak price was €111.15/MWh, up 44%.

Activity also increased on the intraday continuous market, where traded volume reached 1.12 TWh, up 25%, while the weighted average price rose 41.8% to €141.35/MWh.
The data point to a stronger August trading environment in Bulgaria, with rising liquidity accompanied by a substantial repricing of short-term electricity.
