Traded volume on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in February reached 2,365,587.3 MWh, which is 14.5% less compared to the previous month. The average daily traded volume amounted to 81,572 MWh. Traded volume in February 2024 was 4.5% lower compared to the same month last year.
The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in February amounted to 70 euros/MWh, 21.9% lower compared to January (89.6 euros/MWh), while the average peak price was 73.18 euros/MWh.
On the intraday market, 217,697.3 MWh was traded, with an average weighted price of 73.27 euros/MWh.
